Cute sayings....

Micah was sitting on the floor and Aiden starting climbing on him, and Micah says, "get off me baby, I not a playground!" (Micah - 3.5 yrs old, Aiden 13 months)
And... a couple days ago, Micah asked me if candy is healthy.  I said, "no, it's not healthy, it will make your teeth fall out."  Micah said, "then the tooth fairy could bring me a sucker?"  Haha!  He's sooo funny, I think I laugh everyday because of my little comedian.  :)

"Ma-Ma"

Aiden said "ma-ma" yesterday, 11/29/2010! Yahooo!  And he's started standing all by himself for several seconds.  It's not gonna be long before he's walkn' and talkn'!  Makes this mama sad.  Plus he is down to 1 bottle a day.  Growing up!  Look at those teeth!  :)  All 6 of them!

But you will be in 1 week and today was your birthday party!  My girl, Alexis, you are turning into a beautiful young lady!  God is molding you and shaping you to make right choices and decisions!  You also have a calling on your life and I love you!
Back to today!  :)  You had a rainbow party and you had 4 fun girls show up!  We played limbo, balloon tied to your ankle popping game, prize walk, telephone, and when there were 20 minutes left, you girls wanted to make the Easy Bake microwave cookies with fondant, so we did!  Here's some pics of the fun!

You are 1 and you are just so stinkin' cute!  My little blonde hair, blue eyed boy!  I wonder if your hair will stay blonde?  Boy, do you love your brother and sister!  You laugh A LOT (at them)! :)  God has a special calling for you and you are gonna do great and mighty things!  You are much loved!

Brownie Pops

Aiden

At 10.5 months old, Aiden can throw a bouncy ball and chace after it.  :)  He has also learned to take the lid off his puffs container with his teeth!  Growing sooo fast!

1st Word

Aiden said his first word yesterday, "bu bu".  What?!  What about ma ma or da da??  :)  We've been replaced!  :)  He is getting really close to saying ma ma.  He's said "ma" at least.  That's close!  :)  10 months old today.  He's getting bigger every day!

11th Anniversary

Today was our 11th Anniversary!  I went to garage sales this morning and found some quarter goodies.  Man, I love a good bargain.  Anthony gave me a card and my favorite chocolates.  Since the 11th year gift is steel, I gave Anthony a red stainless steel water bottle filled with heart shaped jelly bean type candies.  (we are going on a date in 2 weeks where we have reservations)  We all loaded up and went to Chili's for dinner.  We had a coupon for a free appetizer, so we got the most expensive one.  :)  Micah and Alexis split that and Anthony and I had fajitas along with chips and salsa for all.  After that we went to McDonald's for 50 cent icecream cones.  Yet another bargain!  :)  I let Aiden have a little taste too!  :)

And after 11 years of marriage...3 beautiful kids!

Eyeball Smoothie

I made Micah a smoothie this morning with a frozen banana that didn't chop up all the way.  Micah drank most of it and when he got to the bottom he came to me and said "there's an eyeball in this?",  "what is that, mama?"  HAHA.  I said "it's a banana, honey."  He said, "I don't like that mama."  "That's ok just put it on the table."  :)

3 to Chase!

Aiden has started crawling a few times here and there, but today he crawled the whole length of the living room.  I would say he is officially crawling!!

You know you must buy a lot or sell a lot on ebay, when...  3 year old Micah says, "is this ebay mama?" "No baby, this is Walmart."  Ha ha! 

Blogging and Library

I'm not doing very well with this blogging thing!  It took me 3 days to post about 4th of July weekend, and I'm not even done!  :(   The pictures aren't going where I want them and they have a white border around that I don't want...and...and...and.  So, hopefully soon I will finish up the 4th with pics.  Any help would be appreciated!
So, what happened today?  The kids and I went to the library and saw "Sugar Free Allstars".  They are singers that sing song for kids and they did a really good job of keeping the kids involved.  Alexis got picked to be a leader of the "disco dance", because she was spotted doing the dance well.  That's my dancer girl!  So she got to go to the front and be one of two leaders to lead the group.  Sorry, no pics.  :(  I didn't have my camera.  Then the whole family went to Target.  I love Target clearance!  I think if you were to blindfold me and take me to a store, I would be able to tell if you took me to Target, b/c it just has a certain scent.  Know what I mean?  :)  Haha.  While we were there....downpours from the sky, that didn't let up.  We bought 50 cent ponchos and made the best of it!  :)

July 4th 2010 weekend!

On Sat., July 3rd, the kids had fun playing in the rain and jumping in the puddles!

Micah wasn't to sure about going out in the rain.  He stayed on the porch...at first...but then....he warmed up!

Later we went to On the Border, for some yummy chips, salsa and fajitas! And then to Pops!Aiden wasn't to sure about the grass! Poor baby! :)

I finally started a blog! The main reason for this blog is because I want to be able to turn it into a book. And since I feel like I don't have the time to scrapbook anymore, I figured I could spend a little time each week to blog (scrapbook) about the activities we are doing and how the kids are growing. How did I come up with the name? Well, I like coffee and I'm a stay at home mom with 3 kids and am raising them up in the Lord (or trying at least). So, they are like my coffee beans and since they arn't grown yet, they are green, and instead of the word "raising", I put "roasting". Haha...does that make sense?
I will be learning this whole blogging thing and posting pics and comments. Can't wait until I can order my first book! It will be awesome!
